About the Author

Samanta Schweblin was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1978. She is the author of two previous collections of short stories, Pájaros en la boca (2009) and Siete casas vacías (2015). Her work has been translated into more than twenty languages and has won numerous awards, including the prestigious Juan Rulfo International Prize for Latin American and Caribbean Literature. Schweblin lives in Berlin, Germany.
