The Boy on the Schindler's List: A Memoir of Survival

A Story of Hope and Resilience

In the midst of the horrors of the Holocaust, one man risked his life to save over a thousand Jews from certain death. Oskar Schindler, a German businessman, used his influence and resources to create a factory that employed Jews and protected them from the Nazis. Among those saved by Schindler was Leon Leyson, a young boy who was just 10 years old when he was sent to the Plaszów concentration camp.

In this powerful and moving memoir, Leyson shares his unforgettable story of survival. He describes the unimaginable hardships he endured in the camp, including starvation, beatings, and the constant fear of death. But even in the darkest of times, Leyson never lost hope. He found strength in his family and friends, and he was inspired by the courage and compassion of Schindler.
