About the Author

Jennifer Roy is the author of the critically acclaimed novels Yellow Star and The Red Ribbon. She holds a Ph.D. in history from the University of California, Berkeley, and she has taught history at the college level. She lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and two children.
